I grew up in a Christian home in Bradford, Arkansas. I was saved at the age of six at a tent revival that our church was hosting on September 19, 1988. I graduated from our Christian School in the year 2000. God called me to preach at the age of 19 and immediately I attended West Coast Baptist College. I graduated Bible College in May of 2005 and began to work on staff at the Lancaster Baptist Church as a student ministry intern. In July of 2006 I followed God’s leading back to my home state of Arkansas where I have been serving as a youth pastor at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, AR. I have been serving the Lord and preparing to plant a church for the past four years under the leadership of Pastor Elvis Sneathern.

God burdened my heart for church planting in America over eight years ago while attending Bible College. God allowed me to visit Kansas for the 1st time in April of 2010. A month later my wife and I made a survey trip to see if Junction City was God’s leading and perfect will for our lives. Another month later God confirmed his will to us through His Word and gave us the perfect peace to plant the Junction City Baptist Church in Junction City, Kansas.

It is our burden and desire to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ through the planting of Junction City Baptist Church. Secondly, it is our desire to win as many people as we can to Jesus Christ as long as we are on this earth. Thirdly, it is our desire to baptize and train converts and equip the saints for the work of the ministry through Junction City Baptist Church. If God allows us, it is our desire to plant Junction City Baptist Church and pastor it until He calls us home. We are burdened for souls in America and around the world, but it is our burden to plant many more churches for the cause of Christ in the USA through Junction City Baptist Church.

Pastor’s Wife – Leah Langston

I grew up in a Christian home near Springfield, Missouri. My family moved to Arkansas when I was 14 years old to attend the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, AR. I trusted Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 15 and graduated from our Christian School at Cornerstone. I attended Bible College for two years before I met my husband Adam, and it was there in Bible College that I surrendered my life to God for the fulltime ministry. My husband and I have been married for four years now and the Lord gave us our first child, (Carter) in January of this year.  I am excited for the opportunity to serve the Lord with my husband and family in planting the Junction City Baptist Church.
